I had the pleasure of being hands-on with each piece for the exhibition Legacy of a Mentor: Honoring Alfred D. Ward & His Artistic Influence. This exhibition honors Professor Emeritus Alfred D. Ward and his impact on our community through his work and the work of select Winthrop Fine Arts and Design Alumni who worked with Ward. The exhibition took place in 2025.
Durham, NC-based artist Tom Stanley, a close mentor and friend, has commissioned me for several years to document his paintings. It is always a joy getting to see every detail of his work. He’s been a huge supporter of mine for more than ten years, it was difficult to narrow it down to just a few paintings!
Winthrop University commissioned me to photograph the exhibition below by Kirsten Stolle for her 2019 exhibition Selective Memory.
